  • Pre-Qualify! Know just what you can afford BEFORE you begin to shop for a new home. Loan pre-qualification is FREE and can be handled easily by phone or fax in very little time. It can also help answer many of your questions before they become problems.
  • Don't assume your situation will prohibit you from obtaining financing. Be honest and open about what you feel may be a problem. Our seasoned loan officers can easily work through most obstacles.
  • Talk with our loan officers prior to:
    - acquiring new credit obligations,
    - paying down credit cards or other debts or
    - transferring funds.
  • Down payments must be verified through direct contact with the depository institution or evidenced by your most recent bank statements.
  • Take extra care to pay bills timely and use credit cards sparingly in the months prior to loan application. An old bad credit history can be offset by a more recent span of restored good credit. Remember that good credit is a responsibility. Contact our loan officers for more details.
  • College graduates need only be on the job in their field of study for 1 day in order to qualify for a first mortgage loan.
  • A history of rental or housing payments equal to the proposed mortgage payment can compensate for many shortcomings in income and/or credit. Call our loan officers for a detailed analysis.
  • Special programs for first time homebuyer's are always available. Call our loan officers for more details.
